It is known as MX-5 Miata (or popularly just Miata) in North America, MX-5 in Oceania and Europe, and Roadster (under the Eunos marque until 1996) in Japan. The MX-5 is one of the world’s best-selling sports cars, with 748,904 cars sold until the end of 2005. Beginning with the third-generation 2006 model, Mazda consolidated worldwide (excluding Japan) marketing using the MX-5 name, though enthusiasts in the USA (and the company itself) still refer to it as Miata, a name that means “reward” in Old High German.
The MX5's first generation, the NA, sold over 400,000 units from 1989 to 1997 – with a 1.6 L (98 cu in) straight-4 engine to 1993, a 1.8 L (110 cu in) engine thereafter (with a de-tuned 1.6 as a budget option in some markets) – recognizable by its pop-up headlights. The second generation (NB) was introduced in 1998 with a slight increase in engine power; it can be recognized by the fixed headlights and the glass rear window, although first generation owners may opt for the glass window design when replacing the original top. The third generation (NC) was introduced in 2005 with a 2.0 L (120 cu in) engine.

Mazda Familia is a popular car. The first generation Mazda Familia was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. First produced in 1963. Mazda Familia was built on the basis of Mazda 700 that the prototype appearing on 8th Tokyo Motor Show in 1961. Mazda Familia has a SA Engine 782 cc engine with Water-cooled inline-4 OHV, two valves per cylinder. It has 4 speed manual transmission and 2 speed automatic transmission. The suspension mounted on the Mazda Familia es good, because it has adopted Coil sprung independent by double wishbones / live axle and semi-elliptic leaf springs. Brakes are still using drums.
